Everyday Noble Clothing Adds Emerging Skater to Team

The Everyday Noble Clothing Team is now taking it to the streets. Already stacked with the dynamic Motocross brother duo of Aaron and Adam Gulley, the upstart streetwear brand is now expanding its team to include rising skater Scotty Englund.

A street style skater from the age of 10, Englund has taken his unique blend of tricks and grit forged from the gravel of Jefferson City, Missouri to skating destinations throughout the country - ranging from right here in the Midwest all the way to North Carolina. At the Marshal Massacre, Englund not only took first place overall, but he rolled out of the competition with the top trick as well. He then followed that up with another first place finish in Parkside's competition in Columbia. But perhaps most impressive was his showing at the nationwide Double Decker Am Jam in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where Englund dazzled with his array of homespun skills and daredevil flair.

For Josh Reed, Founder of Everyday Noble Clothing, finding new ways to connect with those who share a similar vision and lifestyle has been a welcomed opportunity for his up-and-coming brand. "We began this brand with the idea that we'd be able to reach out to those that think like we do, that use each day as another chance to leave their own mark on the world, or in this case pavement." says Reed.

"With Scotty, we just saw this incredible passion and work ethic in everything he did, and we wanted to celebrate that. So to have Scotty out there tearing up the streets in Everyday Noble Clothing," continues Reed, "well, I'd say we're pretty lucky."

Located in Kansas City, Missouri, Everyday Noble Clothing is a streetwear brand that produces men's and women's appa women's jackets rel such as hoodies, snapbacks, tees and more. And while Reed has plans for national interest for both his team and his brand, he has been careful to start small, to first cultivate a dedicated following in their own backyard by recruiting and selecting talent that hails from or near the Kansas City area.

On the larger scale, Reed has been outspoken in his desire to provide a line of clothing that calls to the movers and shakers of the world around them, to those that dream the big dreams and never settle for less. His coast-to-coast vision for Everyday Noble Clothing casts a net that expands well beyond Kansas City, a vision that's hinged on a passion and perseverance not unlike that of his team of riders and skaters. With Scotty England now on board, Reed is especially excited for the future of his growing team and brand.

"The road ahead?" Reed smiles before continuing. "I guess I'll speak for our team of riders in saying that, rocky or smooth, we're just looking forward to the ride."

New York Wholesale Clothing Warehouse Launches Wholesale Web Sites for Africa

New York wholesale clothing business, Closeout Explosion, has launched web sites that wholesale brand name clothing, shoes, and handbags to the African market.

While there are many New York wholesale companies with African customers, what makes CloseoutExplosion.com unique is that it has set up specific web sites, and published online articles, aimed specifically at the African clothing market.

For example, it publishes articles on WholesaleNigeria.com to specifically market American brand name products to Nigerian clothing businesses.

It has also developed relationships with freight forwarders that can deliver on a door to door basis to buyers located in Africa.

With wholesale clothing buyers ranging from suit boutiques in Nigeria, shoe stores in Kenya, dress shops in Ghana, and wholesalers in South Africa, this innovative New York clothing wholesaler has developed a unique business based on supplying brand name American designer labels to wholesalers and retail fashion jackets online ers based in Africa. It sources brand name wholesale merchandise by purchasing department store overstock and store returns, buying out clothing businesses, and approaching designers in the New York Garment district.

Wholesale clothing in New York varies from designer international labels to generic labels, and many more subcategories within those primary categories. What makes the business model of CloseoutExplosion.com unique is that in addition to being very familiar with both the New York wholesale clothing market and the needs of African wholesale fashion buyers, it also offers links to other products, such as wholesale and closeout electronics. For instance, it has a web site devoted to wholesale iPod, iPad, iPhone, and other Apple computer products.

"The demand along for wholesale dresses in New York is very large, and what I have found is that dress buyers are often also in the market for wholesale suits, urban, mens, kids, and womens clothing. This demand is especially strong in the African countries which are experiencing rising income levels due to the high level of educational and professional career paths that many of its citizens embark on," stated Donny Lowy, who is the CEO of CloseoutExplosion.com

Many African countries are experiencing economic booms due to the combination of several factors, including a high level of natural resources, government reforms, strong educational priorities, advancement in telecommunications, and international cultural and socioeconomic relationships that Africans have within their borders, across Africa, and with expatriates living abroad. The African consumer who has now been exposed to American brands such as Tahari, Jones New York, Kasper, Coach, Polo Ralph Lauren, and Kenneth Cole, now has the buying power and the desire to purchase these brand name products.

"Through the utilization of a wholesale e-commerce web site, and an actual NY wholesale warehouse in which customers can make their own selection, my closeout business has enabled boutiques from Lagos, Accra, Nairobi, Kampala, Gaborone, and many other African cities to purchase the actual wholesale apparel which is suitable for their particular market," added Donny Lowy, who is also a published author that has been interviewed by Entrepreneur Magazine, and is featured on many wholesale business web sites.

"In the past an African store owner would have needed to visit the New York Fashion District, which is centered around 34th st and 7th ave. She would then need to spend days walking in and out of wholesale showrooms looking for items which might be lucrative in her area. But I have made the process much easier by displaying the types of items that I carry, and the actual prices that she would need to pay. Now instead of spending days dealing with middlemen, she can visit my Brooklyn wholesale warehouse, and purchase products that are aimed at her clientele. By having extensive long term business relationships with my customers, I am able to learn what type of corporate suits a Nigerian banker might need, or the style of office shoes that an office worker uses in Kenya," Donny Lowy remarked.

According to main stream publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Africa offers many business opportunities for American small businesses and entrepreneurs. Closeout Explosion can help businesses explore the potential of these quickly developing markets, by helping American brands sell their products in Africa, and helping them make contacts through which future business opportunities can develop.

Italian Fashion and The Emmys: How Celebrities Who Channel the de' Medicis on the Red Carpet Tend to Have Better Careers Than Those Who Don't

Most people tend to associate "dress for success" with the books by those names from the 1970's. But if you look back through fashion history, you'll see that dressing well and financial success have gone hand-in-hand since ancient times.

So says image consultant and fashion blogger Diana Pemberton-Sikes of FashionForRealWomen.com . "The Greeks, Egyptians, and Romans all used clothing to denote wealth and status," says Pemberton-Sikes. "But the Italians perfected the 'dress to impress' technique during the Renaissance. The de' Medici family in particular new how to dress to get what they wanted. They started out in the textile industry in the 1300's, and by the 1500's, they owned the largest bank in Europe, produced four popes, two French queens, and became the Dukes of Florence. Whatever they wore was reported in detail. Everyone aspired to dress how they dressed."

Not unlike celebrities today. When the Primetime Emmy Awards air this Sunday, people will be focusing on the fashion as much as the awards. How important is it that they get it right?

"It's no coincidence that perennial Red Carpet favorites tend to get more magazine covers and endorsement deals than those who aren't women's jackets ," says Pemberton-Sikes. "There will always be someone trying to get on the worst dressed list because it gets them a little attention. But the ones who dress well consistently – who actually take their jobs seriously – earn more and have longer careers. It's the same in any industry. How well you dress determines how well you're paid."

What advice might the de' Medicis give for the 21 century?

"To think long term. Family dynasties aren't built in a generation, and long careers aren't build on 15 minutes of fame, regardless of the industry. Tina Fey, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Julianna Margulies have all been celebrated for years because they act well and dress well. They'll still be gracing red carpets and magazine covers long after everyone's forgotten about the reality stars and one-hit-wonders. Consistency counts."

The Emmy Awards broadcast is this Sunday on ABC.

Why You Should Always Have Your Deck Perfectly Maintained And How To Do It

A deck is a horizontal platform on the hull of the house. It is made up of wood or metal, with supporting flooring. The average deck has an outside boundary with stairs and with barriers. Firmly made decks are made out of wood that does not rot away, wood such as cedar or redwood. Some decks are made from wood that is manufactured with the mechanical high-pressure presses, or made from plastic stuff that is tightly pressed in special mechanical presses. In order to enlarge the living space at home, you must consider putting a deck. This place, if properly made, could be used efficiently for your amusement or relaxation purposes.

To enjoy the deck for years together you ought to make repairs whenever needed, and maintain it properly.. You can either get a professional deck builder to do it, or you can do it yourself. You can get the joy of serenity only if you heed about the deck, or else you will have to face the possible outcome of your worst nightmare.. However, decks are exposed to elements, which would cause weathering just within a few days after construction..

What can possibly go wrong? Because the deck is exposed to changes in the weather, the protective finish will need refurbishing. Sometimes the boards are spoiled or just get distorted.. The edges of your deck might become unsightly and really rough. Steps get damaged or the parts start coming out loosened.. The do-it-yourself deck fixers can be put in good use for maintaining and refreshing the deck area..

Look for the below measures as tips.. You must regularly check your deck for loose boards or nails that have been moved out of their positions.. Take away the nails that popped out, replace with coated screws, and then restore the loose boards and railings properly to avoid the risk of any accident..

Frequently clean the dust from the deck made of wooden boards.. Wet it with water and mild home cleaner, and clean it.. Remember to rinse thoroughly. To clean the stains caused by sap of trees, rinse neatly after using mineral spirits on the stains..

The mildew can be taken out by washing the deck with the chemical made out of bleach and warm water, that is, 1 cup of bleach in 1 gallon of water.. After this, that affected area should be cleaned with plenty of water and dried properly and fully.. Available also are commercial brighteners, but be keen in following the manufacturer's guidelines exactly.

Where mildew is a continuous problem, it might be due to having too much shade over your deck. If it is feasible, the suggestion is to cut down the branches of trees and clear the bushes just that much to allow the sun rays to fall on the deck and keep it dry most of the times..

How can you identify the problems and do the rectifications?? If the deck goes gray, you need to renew its look and keep it protected by regaining the surface to its near-originality.. If a board opens up, all you need to do is to take out the board, flip it, and re-nail it.. But if damage is already caused to the board, it can be replaced with another by a local lumberyard.. When you get the wood, see to it that it matches the replaced board.. As an alternative, you can deliberately age the lumber by using a solution of water and bleach to wash the deck and then allow it to properly dry. The damaged steps should be replaced forthwith.. It is better that you add proper support to the deck immediately if you ever find it swaying sideways, or bouncing up and down.. Damaged post or baluster must be replaced too.

To do these works in an appropriate manner, you would need to get the right materials and parts from the lumber and hardware stores of your town or from a center for home improvement, and also the tools as described here.. Electric sander, Electric drill, Pressure washer, Wrenches, Wood plane, Sandpaper block, paint brushes, Screwdrivers, Circular saw, Galvanized nails and screws, Pry bar, Measuring tape, Bleach, Level, Hammer, Lumber, Combination square, Wood sealer, Crosscut saw, Wood preservative, Broom, and Stain are the tools and materials that you might require..

Some of the steps you should take to keep your deck safe are given here.. To refinish the deck, the protruding nails can be refastened with a hammer. The ends are trimmed with the help of a plane, electric sander or a sandpaper block.. Where necessary, clean the dirty or gray wood with the previously mentioned gallon of water and one cup bleach solution. It can be applied with a broom or a brush.

You can use the pressure washer to clean the deck, but too much pressure could damage the wood, so, you have to be careful with that.. Putting on a dusk mask while you cut the pressure treated wood is definitely a good preventive measure and it is always advised that way.. The precaution is necessary since there will be some slightly bad chemicals released with the sawdust while the wood is being cut.. A hammer and a pry bar combination can be quite useful when you try to remove the steps that are damaged..

New stair treads should be cut to fit utilizing combination square. On the stringers you can put the fresh stair treads. You need to drill pilot holes in order to prevent the splitting of the treads at the places where screws or nails are driven in.. The treads can be then nailed or screwed to the stringers..

For deck joists support, cut the lumber the exact length and size as that of the current joist, and for cutting of square ends use a combination square. The new joist must be installed against the existing one, so see to it and then nail the ends together. You have to then fasten extra nails in pairs, throughout the joists, in a spacing of eighteen to twenty-four inches each.. Now you can finish your work with painting or staining and thus uniformity on the deck surface can be maintained..

Bracing the Posts requires cutting the first brace, post to post measured diagonally. Put the brace where it is needed and at the higher end nail it to one of the end posts. To the other post you can fix the other end of the brace and nail it firmly.. A cross-brace shall be added now to create an X between the posts, if you need it.. After this, the excess wood should be trimmed at the ends.. To maintain the uniformity after the deck repair done this way, stain or paint the deck sur fashion jackets face once more..

The replacement of the damaged baluster can be as simple as taking out the nails or screws, which are already there to hold it together.. Measurement of the baluster is to be taken before cutting.. It has to be vertically erect, so, you have to make sure of it by using a level before fixing a new one.. Fasten the screws or nails of the baluster anywhere necessary, and give a coat of wood preservative or finishing afterwards..

These are some of the ways of how a professional deck builder would do this job. You can do them on your own or you can have some professional do it for you. Today is the right day to start doing it, regardless of who is doing it, you or the professional..

Allergies And Allergens

More than 50 million Americans are affected with an allergy related condition every year. An allergy and some types of allergic reactions may only cause mild discomfort, such as mild seasonal hay fever that can be controlled with over-the counter medicines or with no treatment at all. A more severe allergy can interfere with your life, reduce your enjoyment in activities, and become fatal. If this is the case, you should see a doctor for a comprehensive review and allergy testing.

From time to time, the body aggressively attacks normally harmless substances such as dust, mold, or pollen. This is common for allergy sufferers. When our immune system identifies a substance that is normally harmless as a threat, it triggers the immune system to defend our body resulting in an array of allergic reactions.

The body reacts to the release of the antibodies in various ways. Allergic reactions can attack any part of our body. They can attack the stomach, the nose, throat, sinuses, and lungs. Some of the allergic reactions your body might experience is nasal stuffiness, discharge, sneezing and itchy nose. Sometimes a reaction is accompanied by other symptoms such as itching in the ears or roof of the mouth.

During an outbreak of common allergic reactions, eyes can be affected with conjunctivitis or red, itchy, and watery eyes. An allergen can make the skin appear to be red, itchy, and dry, hives or itchy welts as well. Asthma is among the common forms of allergic reactions. Asthma causes shortness of breath, coughing and wheezing. Asthma can become severe depending on the allergic reactions to a particular allergen.

Sever fashion jackets al substances can cause allergic reactions. In fact, there are hundreds, but the most common allergens are:

* Pollen. We can hardly avoid pollen if we spend any time outdoors at all.

* Mold. Molds can be anywhere and in your home without you realizing it.

* Dust. Household dusts and dust mites are inevitable in most homes.

* Animals. Dander, urine, and oil from their skin can even become an allergen with varying allergic reactions.

* Chemicals. Industrial chemicals commonly in household cleaners.

* Food. A peanut allergy which can often be life threatening are actually pretty common.

* Feathers. Some birds produce a powder to aid in preening, some produce so much they can coat nearby surfaces.

* Insect Stings. A bee sting can sometimes be fatal.

* Cockroaches and the waste they produce.

Any race, age, gender, or social status can be affected by allergies. Allergic reactions seem to be more common in children but an adult can suffer any of these allergic reactions as well, even after years of remission. Allergic reactions can run in families even though it isn't yet understood why that happens. A specific allergy is not usually inherited, but a tendency to develop allergies is often passed down. If both parents have allergies, the child is likely to have allergies. However, the chance of developing allergies seems to be greater if the mother has allergies. An allergy can develop gradually over a period of time and can be caused by hormonal changes, stress, perfume, smoking, and other substances in the environment.

You can discover what allergy you have in one of two ways. The first is to have a blood test that measures the antibodies to a specific allergy sample and the other is the skin patch test method. Several well-known allergens are diluted and either injected into the skin or a small amount is place under the skin by a puncture or scratch. If a welt or red area appears on the skin it might mean the patient is allergic to that allergen.

Treatments for allergy prone people may vary and are determined on your age, overall health, and medical history. Consideration will be given when deciding therapy options based on how bad the allergic reactions are and your tolerance of medications, as well as personal preferences. Occasionally a person may only need to change their lifestyle and take extra precautions that their home is dust and mold free.

For some it may mean a change of diet especially if their allergy is food related. Several different types of food allergies are commonplace. Allergic reactions can be avoided by staying away from the ones they are sensitive to. For those who are lactose intolerant, many over-the-counter cures will allow you to cope with lactose products. You can enjoy an occasional ice-cream cone without worry.

A peanut allergy can be especially harmful and all items with peanut or peanut oil should be avoided. Most candy makers now print on their packaging if the candy has been made in the same factory where peanut products have been used. This is a potentially life threatening allergy. Always check packaging of all candies to be sure there won't be a trace of peanut or peanut oil in the product if you know you are allergic.

Suffering from an allergy is annoying but controllable if you discover what you are allergic to, and avoid those allergic triggers.

Antique Lamps - The Colour of Jade

Celadon is just one of the beautiful glazes used on Chinese ceramics. The colour is derived from iron and ranges in tone from a grayish green to a sea-green, with the intent to reflect the wide range of greens found in jade. While other colours naturally occurring in jade such as yellow could be used, it is usually from within the green range of colours, high fired and applied to the surface of white porcelain or stoneware.

While the name "celadon" stands for the pale green to grayish-green glaze used to coat the classic pottery of China, today this term denotes the ceramic itself. A celadon type was first produced in China about 3500 years ago, but it was not until the Eastern Han Dynasty (25 to 220 A.D.) that, what is considered true Chinese celadon, first appeared.

Over the centuries, the art of celadon would also travel to other countries in Asia. Korea, Japan and Thailand also have a rich history of celadon ware. As European porcelain makers developed throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, celadon was produced by all the major manufacturers.

We should remember that in 17th century Europe, porcelain was known only by rare examples from China. No one is sure of the real story behind the name "Celadon", but two rather romantic accounts survive.

The first entails the French, who were captivated with this new and refined ceramic ware. The story tells of the name being derived from a shepherd, the principal character in a popular 17th century, French, pastora women's coats l romance, "L'Astrée" by Honoré d'Urfé (1568 -1625). In this early operatic production, the hero, "Celadon", a shepherd, was characterized by a pale green cloak and it is supposedly from this cloak that we now identify the Chinese, pale, jade green glaze.

It was the French, who, in fact, not only gave us the name for this colour but also a full range of other sublime Chinese coloured glazes, still used as standards in the West today to identify the major range of Chinese ceramic colours.

Some of these names will be familiar such as "Famille Jaune", or, the yellow family of glazes in which yellow is the predominant colour, "Famille Noir", or the black family of coloured glazes, "Famille Rose", or the pink family of colours and "Famille Verte", the green range of glazes.

The second story that persists is another romantic tale, this time set in the Middle East. This jade green porcelain was greatly prized throughout the East and we know from court records that in the year 1171 Salah-ed-din (Saladin) Sultan of Egypt, sent as a gift, 40 pieces of this ware to Nur-ed-din, Sultan of Damascus. It is from the name of the Sultan "Salah-ed-din" that the name "Celadon" is said to have been derived.

This version of the two stories is thought to be the most unlikely, however, it really is a case of which story you prefer! However the name originated, the glaze we know as celadon is today still as popular as ever with its elegant, cool, jade green range of colours.

Celadon is also one of the most versatile of colours and is well known to interior designers for its adaptability. It never fights with other colours, but fits in well within a very broad range of colour schemes. All shades of green are the pervasive colours of the natural world, making green an ideal backdrop in interior design, simply because we are so used to seeing it everywhere. Green occupies more space in the light spectrum visible to the human eye than all other colours.

This article is illustrated with a pair of Thai, celadon lamps, described as -:

Tips on Oil Painting - Oil Painting Supports

A ground or support for oil painting is any kind of surface you can paint on with oils. The choice of ground is quite important because it determines in part how your painting will be perceived by the viewer.

Your oil painting support must satisfy a minimum number of conditions. It must accept the paint well (i.e., the paint must stick on the support surface in one stroke) without absorbing too much of the pigment.

The least expensive oil painting ground is treated paper. It is very useful for practicing your skills and even for doing certain types of commercial work.

You can also buy canvas pads. These pads usually contain 10 sheets of medium tooth 5-oz cotton canvas paper that has been triple-primed with acrylic gesso.

The tooth of paper or canvas paper is the degree of roughness or smoothness of the paper or canvas paper. You can tape the oil paper or canvas pad paper to a drawing board. Make sure it is secure and does not shift when applying brushstrokes.

Next in line are the popular canvas boards or panels which are sheets of cardboard covered with inexpensive white painted cloth. These panels are very popular because they are inexpensive (particularly when bought in bulk), easy to store, and easy to carry outdoors. They are however not permanent, i.e., they will deteriorate over time.

Good results can also be obtained from un-tempered Masonite or 3-ply chipboard prepared with three coats of gesso on the front and one coat on the back to prevent warping.

You can also use so-called museum board which is on the order of good-quality mat board. This board is quite absorbent but is inexpensive to practice on.

The ultimate ground for oil painting is canvas stretched over a wooden frame. It has wonderful elasticity and resilience, and history has shown that it has very good permanence. Canvas is of course more expensive but when you are ready this will be your ground of choice and you probably will never want to go back to anything else.

You can buy commercially pre-stretched canvas. In fact, there are plenty of brands, sizes, weights, and qualities to choose from. Only experience will teach you which type of canvas is best suited to your style and subject matter.

Canvas cloth is made of either cotton or linen. The finest canvas and most expensive is made of linen, which stretches better and has, all things being equal, a better tooth. Cotton can be a bit difficult to size and prime.

Look for cloth with an even weave. The canvas texture can be tightly woven and smooth to fairly coarse with an open weave. That means the tooth of the canvas can be fine or coarse and anything in-between. The proper choice, again, is a matter of personal preference and also depends on the subject of your painting.

If you paint a lot, even commercially pre-stretched canvas can become expensive. If so, you can buy rolls of primed or unprimed (raw) canvas. Then with stretcher bars you can create a support of any size you need. If you bought unprimed (raw) canvas which is the most inexpensive, you still have to size and prime the canvas with an oil-based primer. This must be done to prevent the possible occurrence of canvas cloth rotting.

Sizing means treating the canvas cloth with a glue or gelatin solution. After the canvas fabric has dried it must be primed. This means it must be coated with a mixture of white lead in oil and turpentine, using a wide brush. This resu women's coats online lts in a brilliant white surface ready to be painted on.

To save money you may be tempted to work on small canvases. This is not recommended. Unless you are an experienced artist, working on a small ground can easily result in tight, overly controlled paintings. So use supports of at least 16" x 20".

Use Paraffin Wax For Your Feet

Dry, chapped hands ... cracked heels ... rough calluses on the hands and feet ... all of these need a treatment that can moisturize and soften the skin. Luckily, paraffin wax is a viable beauty treatment suited for just these particular purposes. Whether you work outside for a living or use or wash your hands a lot, hands and feet can take quite a beating. Add dry, winterized weather to this scenario and you can be talking about some painful hands and feet that have been exposed to abuse and the weather. A paraffin wax helps restore some moisture to the skin and in return yields a softness that is so touchable.

So what exactly is a paraffin wax treatment? It is almost like it sounds. It is a wax that is melted to a certain temperature. Once melted, you can dip your hand or foot into the wax to coat it. Once you pull your hand or foot out, you'll notice that the paraffin slowly starts to cool off and conform to the contours of that particular body part. It can be likened to a tight-fitting glove on a hand. Once the wax starts to cool off, you can dip your hand or foot in ag women's jackets ain to form another drying wax layer.

As your hands or feet start to cool off from the wax, you will want to cover them up with special mittens or with a thick, clean towel. This action will trap the heat from the paraffin wax for a longer period of time. And what exactly does this heat from the wax do for your skin and body? The heat eases muscle aches and even helps joint pain from such diseases as arthritis and fibromyalgia. This paraffin waxing event also increases the blood circulation in your body and improves skin tone. In addition, the skin's pores open a little more which allows the moisturizing properties to seep into the skin. The result is softer, pliable skin. It is just a relaxing, healing experience.

Paraffin wax is a derivative of refined crude mineral oil. It has a nice shopping list of properties which make it easy for even the most allergy-ridden person to use it without side effects. It is practically colorless and odorless, although you can add scented oil to the wax as you melt it for a little side benefit of aromatherapy. Paraffin wax is also nontoxic and does not react with other substances.

For several decades, doctors have been prescribing paraffin wax treatments for such conditions as listed in the above paragraphs. It is also beneficial to the beauty industry for soft, moisturized skin. One of the most popular ways it is used in your beauty treatment is during a spa visit or when you go for a manicure or pedicure. The paraffin wax will relax your hands, warm them and leave them soft and supple. This makes for an easier time when trimming cuticles and it also softens rough calluses and skin on the heels of your feet.

There are two options for receiving a paraffin wax treatment - using a home wax kit or visiting a spa or salon that offers the service. If you go to a spa to have it done, be sure and ask about their clean-up practices and how they follow standard safety issues in regards to the paraffin wax. After one person is complete with a paraffin wax treatment, the leftover wax should be completely destroyed or thrown away. To use paraffin wax over and over again just begs for the growth of bacteria as well as fungus and other microscopic organisms.

There are home kits available in a variety of sizes as well as shapes. You can even pick a favorite aromatherapy scent sometimes to add to the melted wax. Paraffin wax treatments should typically be done at least once a week to achieve and maintain your soft skin. However, if some people have underlying issues like arthritis, the treatment can be done everyday for maximum comfort. No matter how often you do a paraffin wax treatment, just know that you will experience supple skin after the first application. And within a few treatments, those rough calluses and cracked heels will diminish.

3 Easy Steps To More Real Estate Leads

Need More Real Estate Leads? Don't have a lot of money to spend on getting them? Then join the club. But believe it or not there are ways to generate low cost leads and have fun giving back to your local community at the same time.

Still, I'm one of the first ones to admit that lead generation is a challenging, ongoing, never ending process. As long as you're in real estate sales you'll need leads...and plenty of them.
So, where do you find them? The short answer is everywhere.

For example, if you have kids their schools are excellent places to network for leads. Relationships established that can easily span thirteen or more years (kindergarten through 12th grade). And given that people move sometimes on average once every 7 years or so the majority of them will potential ly be repeat customers.

To get most out of your networking effor women's coats online ts you should to always wear something that identifies you as a real estate agent; a logo on a baseball cap, tee shirt, polo shirt, windbreaker, sports coat, that Century 21 Gold Blazer, etc.

Plus, always be prepared to give away business cards, but only when people ask for them. You don't want to be perceived as an obnoxious, pushy salesperson that people want to avoid. That would be a terrible position for both you and your kids to be in. And what's the point of being pushy anyway, as you'll have up to 13 years to cultivate relationships with them.

The point is this...always be in a marketing and advertising mode; as real estate lead generation can be a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week endeavor.

Another strategy is to register your children in sports activities; basketball, football, track, cheer leading, swimming, etc. The benefits are your kids will be healthier because of the physical activity and it will create more relationship building experiences.

Whether it's a football game, soccer tournament or track meet you're likely to find hundreds of people gathered on any given weekend to support and cheer on their kids.

Here's another tip. In addition to advertising through body wear, polo shirts, baseball caps, tee shirts and the like you can also distribute flyers by placing them on windshields of vehicles parked at the event.

Finally, sponsor scholarships for kids who can't afford to attend extra-curricular activities; like field trips, registration fees to play sports, etc. Unfortunately, many kids can't afford participation even low cost events, including ones costing as little as $5.00 - $10.00.

And you can do this without hurting your pocket. Here's how.

Have a standing agreement with your child's teacher to sponsor 1-2 kids throughout the year for different events. And without ever boasting about what you're doing (please don't) you'll generate a lot of good will while being recognized by the teacher, school administration and parent as a caring, sharing person.

You'll feel good about providing positive, lifelong memories for kids while making positive, business building relationships.

Well, there you have it it - 3 low cost, effective ways to generate more real estate leads. Work them consistently, year end and year out and you'll develop a strong network of parents, teachers and school administrators that will do repeat business with you for years to come.

Kantian Ethics: "Good vs. Evil"

Kantian ethics, or "It's Your Duty," as Wilkens states, is centered on one's duty for the good of the cause and utilizing reason as a means to an end. I liked the example of the courtroom in Wilkens text, where he talks about a juror who has to make the choice to vote "not-guilty" in a trial, because there is not enough evidence to support the verdict. Kantian ethics supports looking at "the best choice" instead of one's own choice or personal opinion as the highest tally mark.

Wilken's goes on to state that many people who are into Kantian ethics make a comparison that it is similar to Christianity. Although this is true to some exten fashion jackets online t, here's how it differs: Kantian ethics do not have to, nor do they support, belief in God. The just of this theory is based upon If I make a correct choice, I am good. Where the theory gets kind of crazy though, happens when you take out God. Good choices cannot be the reason for living, and what about, as the author states, those choices like: "do I lie when a murderer comes in the room and asks where my brother is?" Of course, in my head, I'm thinking-"Don't tell him the truth, make up a story or something!" Pure Kantian ethics may state: "tell the truth at any cost." That, in the murderer scenario, would result in death and disaster.

Wilkens states that: "the concepts of duty, moral law, reason, justice, and the dignity of all people play central roles" in Kantian ethics. His concept of choosing "good" over a quick decision or one that is self-centered is awesome. However, he bases his entire theory on reason alone. I remember scripture stating: "Lean not on your own understanding, but Trust in the Lord with all your heart." (Proverbs 3:5-6) This would contradict Kantian theory big time. Choosing to lean on God would not be leaning on the intellect, which Kant would probably say is not logical.

Divine command theory is based upon the "God said it, I believe it, that settles it" notion. Wilkens points out that this is not enough when defending your faith, and/or justifying your point of view to nonbelievers. Most importantly too, he poses questions like: "What does a couple do when they want to determine the gender of their baby, is there a scripture for that? The answer of course to the divine theorists, would be a resounding: Yes there is!" and then they would quote it and believe it without doubting. Wilkens says that just quoting the verse is not enough- it must be backed up by human reason and logic.

I agree with Wilkens and I disagree. Yes, it would be important to explain and justify one's faith, especially to someone who is not saved, without a doubt. However, if you look at the Catholic Church, for example, you might see an example of a faith that has put too much "reason" in their doctrines. For example, a simple heartfelt prayer, to a devout Catholic, may not be as faithful as the recited prayers that are re-stated every week during mass. Also, you don't see too many altar calls in the Catholic Church, yet we are not to judge. I'm simply looking at the many traditions. same-said prayers, and the few in the priesthood, who sometimes justify gambling, drinking, and some immorality.

To a Devine theorist, scripture is a means to an end. I agree with that thought all the way. I believe that scripture is black and white, but I also believe that if you meditate upon scripture(by meditate I mean really think about it)-you may find more meaning within it. What does the Bible say about scripture though? It says that it is not open for man's interpretation, and in II Timothy it says "not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit-says the Lord. Therefore, I believe that a Christian who listens to the spirit of God within them would be a Devine theorist and someone who is after God's heart. I am a Devine theorist. I believe if it is written in scripture, it is to be followed, and it will never steer you in the wrong direction. Will there be unanswered questions in life? Yes!

Personally though, I believe if you search the scriptures well, you will find a verse that matches the need. And...I don't believe that my reason needs to come into play at all times. I stand on the Word of God as it is written. I am a Divine theorist and I am not ashamed to stand on the Scriptures for Forever.

She does very well with older children as long as she is socialized with them early on. As a reminder, never leave a child unsupervised with a puppy or dog.

Shih Tzu - When You Want A Perfect Indoor Dog

The Shih Tzu is an amazing dog that makes a wonderful pet for introvert people. This dog revels in the attention it is given and wants nothing more than to bask in your attention, which it demands constantly. Trained early, this dog can be a most loving companion in the house and never allow a dull moment in your life. These dogs are proud, imperial looking and very stubborn when not handled correctly. It is very amusing to watch the Shih Tzu's being trained with force ?鈧€?they will do absolutely nothing. Training the Shih Tzu is possible only with positive reinforcement and that too after a long and patient time spent in motivating it to behave. If you are looking for a warm and friendly pet that will adore you for life, there can be no other choice than a Shih Tzu. These dogs are a joy to have around as they require next to nothing in terms of grooming and care, while they are generous with their love and loyalty. The only thing that these dogs need is you ?鈧€?your love and presence.

The Shih Tzu's traces their origin to Tibet where monks, possibly, had been breeding them. Around the 17th Century these dogs were brought into Peking (China) as gifts for the Emperor. They were an instant hit with the royalty and so they then become their exclusive property. The tiny animals stayed protected by Imperial orders for two long centuries. In the 1930 a pair of these lovable dogs were brought to England and from there they reached the USA soil in 1969. Wherever these dogs went they have conquered hearts. Today, the Shih Tzu is one of the most popular breeds across the globe, both in terms of glamorous looks and as a companion.

The Shih Tzu ?鈧€?owing to its temperament and looks ?鈧€?has been a lot of other names. For example, for a long time in the Chinese Imperial Palaces these dogs were known as the Lion dog. This could be for two reasons. First, it looked like a miniatures lion with all the fluffy hair framing its face and second, it had the demeanor of a king
The Shih Tzu needs very little from you other than love. To keep your Shih Tzu happy, allow it to sleep on your lap, pamper it as often as you can and talk to it all the time. Grooming this dog needs special attention because of its long coat. You need to have it brushed with a hard brush to prevent matting of hair and remove the dust that accumulates on it. You need two separate types of combs ?鈧€?one long toothed for the overall coat on the body and another shorter and denser for the hair around the face and feet.

Have the nails checked and cut regularly as these dogs tend to grow long nails for lack of exercise and a sedentary lifestyle. In case you are not comfortable with the cutting of nails at home, visit your vet periodically to get the job done. This should be done as often as necessary.

Shih Tzus are easy to train if you use the right techniques. These dogs can be very proud and stubborn, hence the training should be done only through positive reinforcement. As long as they get pampered and treated to tidbits in reward to their good behavior, the Shih Tzu's will do anything you ask of them. Since the Shih Tzu is very friendly and receptive, many people prefer to train their dogs themselves and find it is not difficult at all. Just be sure use a lot of patience and many treats.

Overall the Shih Tzu breed makes for extremely sweet pets that bring joy and happiness wherever they go. You need to keep one thing in mind when you bring home a Shih Tzu dog ?鈧€?they need your love more than anything else ?鈧€?and women's jackets if you cannot give it to them by being there for them, it is better to choose another breed of dogs.

Every day someone comes to QxBid Shopping

Every day someone comes to QxBid for the first time and is astonished at the vast variety of things for sale. It is truly overwhelming the amount of goods being sold on eBay every day. Supporting the massive amount of items listed is an even more massive number of buyers out there looking for stuff to buy. These buyers all are looking for a bargain but at the same time when they do find something that interests them, they will up their bid to win it. That is the brilliance of an auction rather than a straight sale. Competition. It is what drives prices up on eBay.

online auctions

There are many people who wish to take part in this whole process but have no idea where to start. What to sell on QxBid is the first question everyone asks themselves when they first want to learn how to sell on eBay. You want a product that is in demand, is easy to find and is in constant supply and has no minimum order. There are many shady wholesale and drop ship list sellers who will just leave you more frustrated and broke than with sales and profits. You only need to look as close as your local thrift store.

jeans

Thrift stores are filled with name brands that people are actively seeking to buy. They have thousands and thousands of potenti women's coats online al items to stock your eBay business. The trick is to know what is in demand and will sell. This is done by research and study. By studying closed auctions, you will get very familiar with what sells and what doesn't. Department store and chain store clothing is a dime a dozen and not worth buying to sell. Other designer labels and brands are better to look for. the key is to look at enough auctions that you know a particular category very well.

Lets take jeans for example, they are a favorite among eBay buyers. The trick is to know what will sell and what won't. As you research, you must take notes on everything you study. I suggest you use a notebook and start a new category every few pages to give you room to take plenty of notes. As you go on you will notice a pattern of certain brands selling for a premium price and others not selling at all. This does take some time but is well worth it. You don't want to just go out there and start buying every big name brand you find. There are other factors that will determine if something will sell. Age, condition, style and material are all factors of importance. But soon, you will see these patterns and start to be able to find these good pieces on the racks at your local thrift stores.

The best way to know what to look for is by getting familiar with just a few categories at a time. Get to know winter apparel because it will be in high demand in the fall and can sell for quite a bit of money. A North Face jacket will sell for far more than a pair of shorts. Get to know several areas like sweaters, jeans and shirts for example. As you go into the thrift stores, you will be knowledgeable in more and more categories and be able to find more and more items that will sell at a nice profit.

As you know more and more categories, you can expand your scope and look different sections of the store for the opposite sex. Take sweaters. Once you know womens sweaters and what to look for and what to stay away from, you can do the same for mens sweaters as well. It is surprising what some people will pay for used sweaters. It is very possible to buy a sweater for $2 and sell it for $75-$100. The key is knowing what to look for and if you study womens sweaters, you might as study mens as well. And what about childrens sweaters? Children grow so fast that parents are constantly buying new clothes for them.

A Guide To Creating A Stucco Siding

Stucco is great for exteriors of homes and business. It is durable and can be applied in a variety of colors and textures. Offered in this guide are common ingredients used in the manufacturing process along with methods for application and some tips and pointers to look out for when performing installation.

Prior to the 1900s builders used lime, sand and water to create their compound. Since then lime has been replaced primarily with Portland cement. In some cases lime is still used alongside of cement in order to help the compound adhere to the building better.

Two of the more common instruments used in the process are a trowel and a sprayer. The trowel technique can be a bit tricky to get the hang of as it is done by hand and takes a lot of practice to get used to. The spraying technique is becoming the new way to apply the siding, and has assisted contractors in completing their projects quicker and more efficiently.

Once the frame of the building has been constructed the next step is to install the sheath plywood walls. These will provide a base for the lathe that will be installed later on. Drainage planes are the next items to be installed. The common materials used for this application is water resistant house wrap. Two layers are recommended in order to create a barrier between the sheath and the lathe.

Next building paper is attached to the wall sheaths over the house wrap for protection reasons. The lathe is then attached to the building paper. In earlier construction methods, wood was used to create the lathe. In modern times wire fencing is the most common material used. This acts as a skeleton for adhering and structural purposes.

In addition to the sheaths and the lathe, flashing is a material usually made of a thin sheet or strip of water resistant material and is applied around vulnerable areas such as windows or doorways. Last are weep screeds, these are a type of gutter system that assists in the redirection of water away from the wall. Once the structural materials have been installed it is time to move onto the application process for the siding materials. Control and expansion joints are also installed in a fashion jackets online n effort to provide additional support for the wall in case the house or building shifts. If any shifting occurs cracks in the wall can occur and create problems.

The application of stucco is performed in three coats. The initial layer is referred to as the Scratch coat and is applied by using a brush to make scratching motions both vertically and horizontally onto the lathe surface. This technique will create grooves in the wire that will assist in the adherence of the compound to the lathe.

The second coat is referred to as the Brown coat. This coat is applied to the initial layer in order to provide a smooth surface for the third and final layer. This layer is generally applied using a trowel tool in order to smooth it out. This must be completely dry prior to the application of the final coat.

The final layer is referred to as the Finish coat. This layer can be applied using a sprayer or trowel and can be modified using different colors and textures depending on the preference of the owners. Once the layer has dried and set up the wall is complete.

Hopefully this guide will shed some light onto what goes into creating a beautiful stucco siding. A person could do this job themselves, but it is better to have a professional contractor complete the work. This way a guarantee is in place and no tools and materials will need to be purchased.
